Responsibilities
- Carry out activities related to the development, revision, coordination, submission, and implementation of AML/CFT/CPF legislation, regulations, and methodological guidelines
- Participate in discussions between the FMC and domestic, foreign, and international bodies and organizations related to the division’s functions, prepare the necessary documentation, ensure the implementation of jointly developed programs, and support cooperation between the FMC and law enforcement and supervisory authorities
- Provide legal advisory services to reporting entities
- Support the legal substantiation of suspicious transaction analysis and other FMC activities
- Perform the secretariat functions of the Interagency Commission on AML/CFT/CPF issues, ensure coordination with the Commission and its affiliated working groups, and prepare and circulate documents (agenda, agenda materials)
- Participate in training activities organized for reporting entities, employees of the Central Bank of Armenia, public authorities, and other interested parties
- Ensure the legal accuracy of recorded violations of AML/CFT/CPF legislation committed by reporting entities, as well as summaries and official letters prepared on that basis
- Ensure the legal substantiation of the modernization of FMC information systems and access to them
Required Qualifications
- Higher education in Law
- At least 1 year of experience in research or methodological work in international organizations, public administration, or the private sector
- Knowledge of FATF Recommendations
- Knowledge of AML/CFT/CPF legislation
- Knowledge of financial system legislation
- Knowledge of criminal and criminal procedure legislation
- Proficiency in English and Russian
- Excellent command of Armenian
