Responsibilities
- Development of the Bank's Business Continuity Policy, preparation and continuous improvement of Business Continuity Plans (BCP), implementation and monitoring of the requirements of the aforementioned and other related internal legal acts
- Conducting/coordinating Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical processes, assets, recovery objectives, and dependencies
- Defining system prioritization criteria, RTOs (Recovery Time Objectives) and RPOs (Recovery Point Objectives)
- Defining appropriate recovery strategies based on recovery objective
- Aligning business continuity and disaster recovery plans with BIA results and the Bank’s risk appetite
- Implementation and monitoring of the Bank’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 22301 standards, normative acts of the Central Bank of Armenia, and other applicable international standards
- Implementation of processes for inventory, classification, management, and labeling of information and information assets
- Testing of BCP/DRP (Disaster Recovery Plans), documenting results, conducting corrective actions, and overseeing implementation
- Monitoring the Bank’s data backup processes for information systems
- Participating in testing activities during changes in existing systems or introduction of new systems, and overseeing compliance with BCP requirements
- Activation of the Bank’s crisis team (coordinator/secretary in emergencies), maintenance and updating of contact lists, and definition of secure communication channels
- Assessing the BCP maturity of the Bank’s critical vendors and incorporating relevant requirements into contracts
- Evaluating and recommending improvements to increase overall business resilience
- Conducting BCP/DRP awareness and training sessions for business units, management staff, and technical teams
- Providing periodic reports to the Director of the Risk Department, the Head of the Service, and the Bank’s Management Bodies regarding information security and business continuity matters
- Performing other functions as defined by the Bank’s internal legal acts or assigned by the immediate supervisor
Required Qualifications
- Higher education
- At least 4 years of work experience in the field of ISMS / BCP / DR (Information Security Management System / - Business Continuity Planning / Disaster Recovery)
- Knowledge of infrastructure and disaster recovery technologies (backup, cloud recovery, high availability (HA), clustering)
- Knowledge of banking legislation
- Proficiency in foreign languages
- Computer literacy (Python, SAP, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of asset inventory tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of networking technologies
- Understanding of encryption technologies
- Familiarity with international standards (ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 27031, ITIL Service Continuity, NIST SP 800-34)
- Familiarity with internal policies and regulations
