- review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases - execute manual testing of software applications, ensuring adherence to functional, technical, and design specifications - perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT) - identify, report, and track bugs and issues using a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) - collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand product functionality and provide feedback - re-test and validate bug fixes and enhancements to ensure the issues are resolved - perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility and a consistent user experience - ensure that the software meets quality standards before release - maintain and update test documentation and test cases - participate in team meetings, providing updates and recommendations for product improvement - ensure proper logging, prioritization, and resolution of defects within the software

- bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) - proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, Software Tester, or similar role - strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes - experience writing detailed and comprehensive test cases and test plans - familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) - ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and effectively - good problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail - knowledge of basic SQL for data validation - understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies - strong organizational and time-management skills - ability to work both independently and as part of a team - experience with performance testing and security testing is a plus - familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete) is a bonus, although manual testing will be the focus of the role - previous experience in fintech, is a plus
