Responsibilities
- Receive and manage user inquiries related to the LIS via phone, email, or a ticketing system
- Provide first-level technical support to LIS users, including physicians, laboratory staff, and administrative personnel
- Guide users on system functionality, data entry, report generation, and troubleshooting errors
- Escalate complex or non-standard issues to second-level support, the IT department, or the LIS vendor as needed
- Monitor the issue resolution process and maintain clear, ongoing communication with users
- Train new users on the fundamentals of working with the LIS
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Laboratory Medicine, or a related field
- Prior experience working with a Laboratory Information System (LIS) is a strong advantage
- Basic understanding of networking technologies
- General knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong sense of responsibility and organizational skills
- Effective team player with solid interpersonal skills
