Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Engineer

- Develop, implement, and maintain workplace health and safety procedures, systems, and technical solutions - Perform risk assessments and safety inspections across production lines, assembly areas, and office spaces - Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; carry out root cause analysis and implement engineering controls or corrective measures - Ensure compliance with local and international OHS regulations, standards, and best practices - Plan and conduct safety training sessions, drills, and awareness programs for employees at all levels - Prepare and maintain documentation related to incidents, inspections, safety audits, and training - Oversee emergency response readiness, PPE compliance, first aid arrangements, and safe handling of hazardous materials - Collaborate with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and safety consultants as required - Promote a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety performance

- Proven experience in occupational health and safety engineering, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments - Strong understanding of OHS regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and engineering controls - Ability to design and implement technical safety measures and deliver safety training effectively - Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills - Experience with incident reporting tools and safety management systems - Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and accountability
