- Install and configure servers (Windows/Linux) and network devices - Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and backups - Manage and maintain core services like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies - Assist in implementing security best practices and monitoring systems - Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, and networks - Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) - Contribute to infrastructure automation through scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) - Document system procedures and configurations - Participate in on-call rotations as you grow into the role

- A solid technical foundation in systems, networking, and/or scripting, whether through coursework, personal projects, internships, or certifications - A strong desire to learn and grow, with a willingness to take full responsibility for the tasks you’re assigned - An analytical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to dive deep into unfamiliar topics - Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments - Basic understanding of networking and cloud concepts - Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) - Exposure to monitoring tools or DevOps practices is a plus - Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Linux+, etc.) are a bonus, not a requirement
