Responsibilities
- Conduct regular screening of tendering websites to identify viable opportunities
- Conduct a thorough analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), assessing Synergy’s compliance with the requirements
- Contribute to the bid decision by analyzing eligibility criteria and other RFP requirements
- Manage the end-to-end proposal development process
- Ensure alignment of technical proposals with client requirements and Synergy's quality standards
- Ensure a compliant and responsive proposal that covers all the qualification and evaluation criteria
- Lead and facilitate proposal kick-off meetings and collaborative review sessions
- Maintain well-organized proposal calendars, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to timelines
- Collaborate closely with Program Directors (PD), Project and Product Managers, sales, and technical teams to assemble inputs and define technical solutions
- Support in establishing accurate and competitive proposal budgets
- Manage the integration of technical and cost inputs from partner companies into the proposal
- Engage external consultants and subject-matter experts to enhance proposal inclusivity
- Leverage post-submission debriefs to gather lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends
- Gather intelligence on competitors and their offerings
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or a technical discipline is required
- 3-5 years of experience in proposal management, preferably in a business development role with a focus on Request for Proposals (RFPs) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competition within the sector the company operates
- Proficiency in conducting market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends
- Skills in contributing to bid decisions by analyzing eligibility criteria and other RFP requirements
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with Program Directors, Project and Product Managers, sales, and technical teams to assemble inputs and define technical solutions
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposal content across various sections
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and engaging proposal sections
- Ability to operate under pressure, multitask, and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic and a desire to excel and continuously grow in the role
