Head of Engineering

- Provide strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of the engineering organization - Support program technical leadership and dedicate engineering support to achieve program goals - Collaborate closely with product leadership, mission operations, and senior management to translate strategic vision into actionable engineering roadmaps - Lead, mentor, and expand cross-functional engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence - Drive the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex integrated hardware and software systems - Ensure rigorous engineering standards, operational excellence, scalability, and compliance with applicable regulations - Represent engineering at the executive level, contributing to corporate strategy, client interactions, and key partnerships - Implement and optimize modern engineering practices, including agile methodologies, continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), and rapid prototyping

- 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in aerospace, robotics, autonomous systems, or similarly rigorous/complex industries - Proven track record of leading large, multidisciplinary teams through the complete product development lifecycle - Deep expertise in at least one key technical area: autonomous systems, robotics, embedded systems, AI/ML, aerospace, or related disciplines - Strong systems-level thinking with the ability to balance strategic architectural decisions and agile, iterative execution - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
