Responsibilities
- Food Preparation
- Clean, wash, cut, and portion the necessary ingredients (vegetables, meat, fish, spices) according to the Head Chef’s instructions
- Assistance with Cooking
- Assist with the preparation of dishes, sauces, and semi-finished products
- Workplace Cleanliness
- Ensure impeccable cleanliness and sanitation of work surfaces, kitchen equipment, utensils, and containers
- Sanitary Standards
- Strictly comply with sanitary and hygiene requirements, HACCP standards, and personal hygiene rules
- Food Storage
- Ensure the proper placement and storage of food products in refrigerators in accordance with FIFO/FEFO principles
Required Qualifications
- Previous work experience in a kitchen
- Knowledge of basic sanitary regulations and food-handling standards
- Speed, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding kitchen environment
- Valid medical/sanitary certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
