Senior DevOps Engineer: CI/CD and infrastructure squad

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions across multiple environments - Lead infrastructure automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and configuration management tools - Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery - Manage and enhance Kubernetes-based container orchestration platforms and related cloud-native technologies - Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery readiness, and high availability of infrastructure and critical services - Design and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions for infrastructure and applications - Collaborate closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency - Review technical and business requirements, provide architectural recommendations, and communicate infrastructure needs to stakeholders - Lead root cause analysis activities for complex production incidents and implement preventive measures - Develop and maintain automation scripts and operational tooling using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies - Manage and optimize service mesh, identity management, networking, and security-related infrastructure components - Administer and optimize databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL Server - Ensure compliance with security standards, operational procedures, and infrastructure best practices - Participate in technical planning, capacity planning, system upgrades, and infrastructure modernization initiatives - Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to technical leadership within the team - Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures - Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure and DevOps practices - Provide advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization for infrastructure, applications, and deployment pipelines - Participate in on-call rotations and support critical production environments when necessary

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure/platform engineering role - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience administering Linux-based systems in production environments - Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Ansible, and containerization technologies such as Docker - Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation practices - Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in cloud and hybrid environments - Strong experience with Azure DevOps and modern software delivery practices - Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native infrastructure architecture - Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems - Strong knowledge of Service Mesh technologies and microservices infrastructure architecture - Solid understanding of networking, security, load balancing, reverse proxies, and web servers such as Nginx, Apache, and IIS - Experience with monitoring and observability platforms - Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills - Experience administering and optimizing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL databases - Experience with Source Code Management (SCM) systems and Git-based workflows - Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages - Experience working in high-availability and mission-critical environments - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Ability to make technical decisions independently and lead infrastructure-related initiatives - Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership is considered a strong advantage - Proficiency in Armenian, Russian, and English
