- Data governance and quality by maintaining processes for the consistent use of data across the organization and ensuring data accuracy and consistency, data classification, data quality management by generating data quality reports - Data lifecycle management: supervising how data is collected, stored, maintained, and ultimately retired - Overseeing data security protocols and ensuring the company complies with all relevant regulations and ethical standards - Developing a company-wide strategy for how data will be used to achieve business goals, often aligned with digital transformation efforts - Promoting data literacy and new technologies; promoting a data-driven culture across the organization by applying new technologies and best practices - Mentoring junior staff

- Master’s degree in information technology or math - More than 5 years’ work experience with large data - Data modelling and architecture knowledge - Understanding of large-scale data processing systems - Understanding of distributed computing - Advanced level in PL/SQL, TSQL, My SQL… - ETL tools (MS SSIS, Airflow or similar), data pipelines development experience from/to different data sources, examples: DB-to-DB, File loading, Web scraping, AI integration where needed - Experience in designing and developing data warehouse, data lake and proposing of the best solution for specific needs - Functional programming (Scala/Java/Python) - Data modeling (SQL/No SQL) - Software development - Technical learning - Problem solving - Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments within critical deadlines - Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethical behavior and confidentiality - Good knowledge of Russian and English languages - Telecom industry experience is a strong advantage - Adaptability/Flexibility
