- Build, manage, and continuously improve scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that process data from both internal and external sources - Consolidate and integrate data from operational systems, APIs, files, and third-party platforms into a centralized data warehouse or data lake - Ensure data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and cost-effective through ongoing monitoring and optimization. - Design and develop data models (including star, snowflake, and normalized schemas) to support analytics and reporting needs - Establish and maintain data quality standards by implementing validation processes and monitoring mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and completeness - Optimize SQL queries and data structures to enhance overall system performance - Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring for pipelines and data services - Troubleshoot data issues and provide root-cause analysis

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience - Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering or a similar position - Strong proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering - Practical experience in developing and managing ETL/ELT processes - Solid experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server - High attention to detail with a strong focus on ensuring data accuracy and reliability
