- review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases - execute manual testing of software applications, ensuring adherence to functional, technical and design specifications - perform functional, regression, integration, smoke and user acceptance testing - identify, report and track bugs and issues using a bug tracking system - collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand product functionality and provide feedback - re-test and validate bug fixes and enhancements to ensure the issues are resolved - perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility and a consistent user experience - ensure that the software meets quality standards before release maintain and update test documentation and test cases - participate in team meetings, providing updates and recommendations for product imp

- bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field - 5+ years of proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, Software Tester or similar role - strong expertise in software testing methodologies, tools and processes - hands-on experience designing, documenting, and executing detailed and comprehensive test cases and test plans - proficiency with defect tracking tools - ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and effectively - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail - working knowledge of SQL for data validation and back-end testing - solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams - strong organizational and time-management skills - ability to work both independently and as part of a team - experience with performance and security testing is highly desirable - familiarity with automated testing tools is a bonus, although manual testing will be the focus of the role - previous experience in fintech is a plus
