Middle Java / Kotlin Developer

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Kotlin - Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot - Build and maintain robust backend services and microservices - Work with PostgreSQL and database connectivity using JDBC - Work with relational and non-relational databases - Implement and maintain secure communication using SSL/TLS - Integrate services with external and internal APIs - Work with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Docker, and related infrastructure when required - Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, Product Managers, and other team members to deliver high-- quality products - Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and development best practices - Debug, investigate, and resolve technical issues - Maintain and improve existing services - Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability

- 2+ years of professional backend development experience - Good knowledge of Java - Experience with Kotlin or willingness to work with Kotlin in backend development - Good knowledge of Spring Boot - Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs - Experience working with PostgreSQL - Understanding of JDBC and database connectivity - Understanding of relational and non-relational databases - Basic understanding of SSL/TLS and secure client-server communication - Familiarity with Git for source control - Familiarity with Jira or similar task-management systems - Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies - Ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code - Good problem-solving and debugging skills - Good communication and teamwork skills
