Responsibilities
- Technical Execution: Providing expert remote and on-site support, serving as the primary escalation point for helpdesk tickets
- Systems Maintenance: Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across the technology stack (Windows/macOS/Linux and peripherals)
- Infrastructure Support: Assisting in the deployment and configuration of new servers, network hardware, and security protocols
- Operational Ownership: Monitoring system health, performing regular backup checks, and ensuring disaster recovery procedures are followed correctly
- Documentation: Proactively maintaining the internal IT knowledge base and documenting new technical procedures as they are established
- Process Improvement: Identifying recurring technical bottlenecks and proposing solutions to improve system uptime and user productivity
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or system administration role
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent service to non-technical employees
- Ownership Mindset: A demonstrated history of taking a task from start to finish without being micromanaged
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and enterprise environments
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a "find-a-way" attitude toward technical troubleshooting
