Responsibilities
- Processing and managing the payroll on monthly basis;
- Entering payroll information and maintaining payroll files;
- Calculating salaries, overtime earnings, vacation deductions, sick andmaternity leaves and etc.
- Issuing paychecks in a timely manner
- Updating/checking payroll systems
- Closely work with legal team
- Generating payroll reports for Managers to review
- Performing other accounting responsibilities that may be required for the company and/or successful completion of company’s projects
Required Qualifications
- University degree in economics, finance or accounting
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Payroll Accountant, or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operation with databases using MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.)
- Proficiency in accounting software programs (AS-Enterprise/Payroll)
- Strong working knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of Russian language
- In-depth knowledge of applicable laws
- Experience in preparing payroll and tax reports, as well as answering payroll inquiries
- Ability to maintain and update employees' payroll files
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
