Head of Database Infrastructure Division

- Lead, manage, and develop the Database Infrastructure Division, including workload planning, prioritization, and performance management. - Serve as a senior escalation point for complex database incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact. - Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade database architectures focused on availability, scalability, reliability, and performance. - Oversee high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including clustering, replication, and backup strategies. - Drive proactive performance optimization, monitoring, and capacity planning initiatives. - Ensure strong database security controls, compliance with internal policies, and regulatory and audit requirements. - Lead incident management activities, including root cause analysis and preventive improvement actions. - Promote automation, standardization, and best practices to improve operational efficiency. - Support team growth through mentoring, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus). - 5+ years of experience in database administration, database engineering, or similar roles. - Proven experience in team leadership or people management. - Background in regulated, mission-critical environments (banking or fintech is a strong advantage). - Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and/or Oracle. - Solid knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and database security. - Experience with automation or scripting tools is an advantage. - Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills. - Armenian – fluent, English and Russian – working knowledge
