International ODS/HFC Technical Specialist

- Provide technical advice on the establishment of collection, storage, and disposal systems for ODS/HFC banks in Armenia - Define technical requirements and safety protocols for handling, transport, and interim storage - Assess options for recycling, reclamation, and destruction of ODS/HFCs, including cost-effectiveness and international best practices - Recommend laboratory and capacity-building needs for Armenia - Support the development of a business/financing model through technical input - Engage (remotely) with key stakeholders and contribute to national consultations and workshops - Draft technical sections of the action plan and final report

- Advanced degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, refrigeration technology, or related field - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in ODS/HFC management, recovery/recycling/reclamation, and destruction technologies - Demonstrated experience in advising governments or international organizations on ODS/HFC or refrigerant management - Familiarity with ExCom Decision 91/66 and Montreal Protocol guidelines - Experience working in developing or transition economies is an asset - Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills in English
