Junior QA engineer

- Write test cases throughout the development lifecycle of complex web applications - Create and manage the required documentation - Participate in sprint planning activities - Collaborate with QA team members to plan schedule collectively and perform tests - Setup and configure test environments and import test data - Perform API Testing - Work closely with the development team to perform early testing on components before integration builds - Manage and monitor defect tracking and proactively identify risks to management - Report QA status, to keep project stakeholders informed on deliverables and timelines - Staying up-to-date on the latest QA trends and best practices. - Required qualifications

- At least 1 year of experience in manual QA position - Experience in web, mobile applications testing - Experience on back-end testing including APIs - Experience in creating test cases - Knowledge of QA and software development lifecycle, methodology and processes - Knowledge of programming languages will be an asset - Excellent communication skills - English language skills, both written and spoken - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - 2 nose hole availability is mandatory
