Responsibilities
- Develop, outline, coordinate, and revise regularly the actions required in emergencies
- Identify and evaluate critical business processes, including assessment of the impact of their disruption on the Bank and setting recovery priorities
- Develop the plan of preventive measures together with the responsible units to ensure continuity of business processes for potential scenarios; conduct regular review thereof
- Develop/amend regulations to ensure continuity of the Bank’s critical business processes in case of emergency or temporary interruption of a process
- Assess and revise the factors likely to result in emergency, organize and coordinate works as per products/services/processes and information systems
- Arrange and coordinate the regular testing plan for the business continuity plan
- Arrange and coordinate the process of conducting seminars for the Bank employees and raising awareness
- Coordinate the works aimed at preventing disruption of the Bank’s normal operations, ensuring business continuity and operation of the continuity system in emergencies
- Ensure a system for organizing of civil defense of the Bank staff in emergencies
- Develop evacuation plans according to the type and category of the emergency
- Perform business impact analysis jointly with the responsible units
- Coordinate development of alternative scenarios/actions for maintenance of the systems classified as critical for the - Bank’s business processes and securing the relevant processes
- Integrate at least the minimum requirements set by the Armenian laws on civil defense and emergencies into the Bank’s internal regulations on emergencies; coordinate their implementation
Perform other duties delegated/assigned
Required Qualifications
- University degree in finance, business administration, IT/technical fields, economics or other related fields
- Minimum two years of work experience in banking management, business continuity management and/or disaster recovery planning
- Expert knowledge of busines and banking operations continuity and disaster recovery planning, awareness of the best practice, relevant laws and regulations
- Expert knowledge of banking operations and business systems’ management
- Knowledge of IT systems structure is a plus (platforms, networks, applications, databases, and operating systems)
- Experience in business impact analysis
- Excellent command of Armenian, English and Russian
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and cooperation skills
