Responsibilities
Initiate the loan application process, i.e. assess the borrowing capacity and creditworthiness of clients according to the established criteria
Whenever required, gather the necessary documents of the individual client and provide them to the Business Lending Officer(s) to obtain analyzed information about the client’s income in cases where the client’s income is generated from business
Whenever required and upon instruction by the line manager, also perform proper assessment of the borrowing capacity and creditworthiness of legal entity/private entrepreneur clients under the supervision of a Loan Officer(s) - Business Lending, in accordance with the standards set forth in the internal regulations of the Bank and in compliance with the requirements set forth in the internal regulations of the Bank
Make inquiries to relevant information bureaus to collect other information necessary for assessment of the client’s credit history and borrowing capacity, provided that the client’s consent for making the inquiry issued in the manner prescribed by the applicable procedure is available
Review the documents and/or information provided by the client and compare them with the established criteria and minimum requirements
Organize assessment of the property pledged as collateral and make a visit to the property to inspect it personally
Prepare and submit a professional loan opinion
Submit the loan application to the stakeholders for consideration and opinion
Organize and coordinate disbursement of the approved loan, gather the necessary documents, provide them to the stakeholders
Organize generation of loan, pledge and guarantee agreements and subsequent verification thereof by the Bank and the client
Monitor fulfillment of the approved loan terms, including conditions precedent and conditions subsequent
Collect documents and other evidence of target use of the loan proceeds and submit them to the relevant units within the specified timeframe
Prepare and maintain client credit files, both in paper and electronic forms (including in the Bank’s operational system, CRM database)
Conduct ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the loans issued by himself/herself and other Loan Officers, where necessary, in the event of restructuring of disbursed loans, provide the required information and organize the respective process
Keep track of timely repayments of loans and report to the relevant employees and/or units in case of default
Immediately report to the line manager in case of noticing or suspecting fraud or any illegal action at any stage of lending and/or loan servicing
Identify, discuss and develop solutions together with the line manager to address the issues impeding ordinary course of work
Submit recommendations for continuous improvement and amendment of the procedures and processes, where necessary
Train and support new employees with little experience, organize joint assessment of the client’s borrowing capacity, and assist in organizing the entire subsequent process of service
Assume responsibility for implementation of some functions, including preparation of subsequent progress reports on loans issued by the lending team, centrally manage the quantitative, volumetric, and qualitative indicators of the team’s overall portfolio, monitor fulfillment of conditions subsequent, perform management of complaints by borrower clients and other similar
Required Qualifications
- Education: Higher education in business administration, finance, accounting, economics
- Work experience: At least 3 (three) years of relevant work experience
- Market knowledge: Sufficient knowledge of the industry, ability to develop and offer competitive terms to attract and develop clients- on better terms
- Relationship management and communication: Ability to interact with clients of different segments, excellent communication skills, ability to establish and manage relationships with internal and external parties
- Business knowledge: Familiarity with the financial market, ability to analyze the client’s financial situation, timely and properly identify and manage possible risks related to potential losses for the bank
- Business ethics: Integrity and high level of professionalism in managing clients’ confidential personal and financial data
- Technical knowledge: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, AS-Bank 4.0 Operational Day
- Knowledge of languages: Excellent command of Armenian, Russian and English
