Responsibilities
- Executing domestic and international payments, including bank transfers and other electronic transactions
- Ensuring all payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconciling payment transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Coordinating with finance team to ensure consistency in financial records
- Ensuring all payment activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with payment processing
- Maintaining accurate records of all payment transactions and ensuring proper documentation is in place
- Implementing and managing data management and archiving systems for payment records
- Addressing and resolving payment-related inquiries and issues from clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Utilizing payment processing systems and software to manage transactions efficiently
- Preparing regular reports on payment activities, volumes, and trends for management review
- Analyzing payment data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Working closely with other teams, such as Finance, and Relationship and Sales, to ensure smooth payment operations
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate payment-related activities
- Participating in training sessions and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Sharing knowledge and expertise with team members to promote a collaborative learning environment
Assisting with internal and external audits related to payment processing
- Ensuring all audit findings are addressed and corrective actions are implemented
- Investigating and resolving payment disputes, errors, and fraud cases promptly and effectively
- Implementing measures to prevent recurrence of payment issues
- Perform other duties related to the position, as required by the CEO or the Head of Team/Unit
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 1-2 years of experience in payments processing, banking operations, or financial services
- Strong knowledge of payment processing
- Familiarity with local and international payment systems, including SWIFT
- Experience with banking software and financial transaction systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Armenian, Russian and English (both written and spoken)
