Information Security Specialist

- Monitor and analyze security alerts to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities - Assist in the development and enforcement of information security policies, procedures, and best practices - Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify weaknesses - Investigate and respond to security incidents, working closely with IT and security teams - Support the implementation and management of security solutions such as firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and identity management systems - Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.) - Provide security awareness training to employees to minimize human-related risks - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and mitigation strategies - Assist in security audits, internal reviews, and reporting to identify areas for improvement

- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - 2+ years of experience in information security, IT security, or related fields - Monitor and analyze security alerts to detect potential threats and vulnerabilities - Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, or endpoint security solutions - Assist in the development and enforcement of information security policies, procedures, and best practices - Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify weaknesses - Investigate and respond to security incidents, working closely with IT and security teams - Support the implementation and management of security solutions such as firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and identity management systems - Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.) - Provide security awareness training to employees to minimize human-related risks - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and mitigation strategies - Assist in security audits, internal reviews, and reporting to identify areas for improvement - Previous exposure to security incident handling and risk assessment is a plus - Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage - Basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools for security tasks is a plus
