Data Engineer

- Develop business and technical scenarios for automatic data processing - Collaborate closely with the laboratory team in Boston and end-users of the data - Take an initiative approach to work and actively engage in team collaboration (participate in specification development, conduct code reviews, support high-quality code) - Acquire basic biological and specific knowledge necessary for working with laboratory instruments and scientific teams

- 2+ years of commercial development experience in Python (including work on large projects). However, if you have experience with other popular programming languages and are willing to switch to Python, we would be happy to consider your application - Experience with pipeline organization tools (Airflow, Prefect) and CI/CD (Concourse) - Knowledge and experience using cloud services and virtualization technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) - Ability to write tests (unit tests, integration tests) - Experience working with databases - Strong communication skills, ability to structure tasks, and conduct code reviews with the team - English proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher
