- Designing and monitoring activities Implementing and monitoring the quality of MHPSS treatment (following protocols, adapting protocols, content of training, organising the healthcare pathway, etc.) - Ensure that the MHPSS activities adapts to changes in context and population’s needs, as necessary - Creating and disseminating tools, guidelines, and training materials - Providing technical supervision, capacity building and support for teams (MdM and/or partners) - Identifying national and regional actors in the theme and leading the relevant network, in link with the Field Coordinator - Implementing and monitoring data collection, managing and training teams, compiling, and analyzing data - Proposing changes to activities if needed and planning resources (logistics, finance, HR), in link with the Field Coordinator - Designing and conducting needs and impact assessments relating to MHPSS - Evaluating MHPSS partners - Contributing to writing MHPSS components of draft projects and donor reports - Writing activity reports, capitalisation reports, summaries, etc - Monitoring the budget for these activities and contributing to the construction of the budget

- Mental health professional (psychologist, etc.) - Master’s in public health is an added value - Minimum 3 years’ experience of work in MHPSS programs in humanitarian emergencies/context with both individual counselling and Psycho-Social Support activities - Experience to build up local partnerships - Training in transcultural approach is highly desirable - Experience in developing training materials and training implementation Capacity to create relationships with the communities - Ability to implement tools and monitoring process in coordination with implementing partners. - Understand a healthcare system (including organization, curriculum of medical/MHPSS profiles and national healthcare programs) and summarize the broad outlines - Project cycle management: Plan, implement, and assesses MHPSS activities - Define MHPSS needs within primary healthcare and adapt operational activities to the new field constraints - Define and analyze mental health and psychosocial support indicators - Communicate MdM values and positions - Discuss, present arguments and negotiate with healthcare authorities and partners - Know international MHPSS standards - Adapt planning to unforeseen events - Understand activity follow-up indicators
