Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis of tax legislation - Analysis of effective Armenian tax legislation, follow up of changes in the effective legislation, analysis of court practice, international principles of taxation, etc. - Involve in the compliance and audit projects for tax review - Perform other job-related duties, as assigned
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field - Good knowledge and understanding of business concepts, accounting, taxation and in particular the RA tax laws and regulations and international taxation - One (1) to two (2) years of prior experience - Experience with corporate taxation - Prior experience in preparing and reviewing of tax provisions preferred - Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat - Experience with accounting software (Armenian Software; 1C) - Solid verbal and written communication skills - Fluency in Armenian, English and Russian languages - Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills - Able to work in a team environment

A Tax Assistant is responsible for utilizing tax laws and regulations research skills, applying tax foundational knowledge to understand potential tax issues, gathering client information necessary for participating in tax planning, recognizing and communicating potential risks, preparing tax accrual workpapers and working with accounting software applications to review tax returns.
