Responsibilities
- Lead a team of content marketers against a series of content engagement initiatives including but not limited to global and local research - Execution of content for; consumer trends, hashtags, featured content, curated content, challenges, and product marketing within content experience and premium content experience - Partner closely with the brand, creative, product and business teams to develop strategies for new content and premium content-related product launches, seasonal events, regional/country-specific events and holidays - Support our brand expansion strategies by country and geo through content marketing - Continue to refine and expand our organic and localized content and premium content strategies across in-app, web site, marketing touchpoint and partner property experiences - Develop methodologies and best practices to collect accurate, and actionable, data on our content, challenges and users engaging with our content, all by platform and region - Translate data into clear and valuable information that drives intelligent content-related business decisions toward content strategy & mission - Deliver actionable insights by synthesizing information from content analysis, market research, competitor analysis - Test and provide proactive insights and analysis on strategic challenges and new content marketing opportunities - Evolve and lead a young and motivated marketing team and partner with other key business units to achieve company goals surrounding content engagement, and retention - Research, evaluate and implement technology solutions and tools to help us accelerate our content marketing (reporting, data aggregation, optimization, etc) - Stay on top of industry trends and competitive landscape to quickly act on opportunities as they come up. - Leverage existing and build new relationships with potential partners, esp. among platform and content partnerships relevant for our audience - Work with VP Growth Marketing, leadership, marketing and finance teams to conduct analysis and craft stories to support content strategy for management and board meetings - Work with product, curation team, AI and other teams to surface the best network content and with community team to support interest-based content initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in internet, digital, content and/or product marketing oriented roles – candidates with underpinnings in marketing analytics and technology highly favorable - Experience with setting content strategy and managing a growing local and global team - Strong familiarity with social media and trend research - Ability to work and excel within a matrixed organization and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative team environment - Ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape - Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate with stakeholders, marketing team and users - Ability to develop a vision/strategy that instills trust and drives awareness across the company and with key executives - Excellent multi-tasker, project manager with a desire to learn about and experience new cultures - Experience working in globally distributed, mid-to late-stage start-up environments preferred - Experience in consumer tech/mobile app space strongly preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, economics, or business related, MBA a plus
